Question for ya!
Double checked with the parts store, they carry a 160F, 180F, 192F, and a 195F. I've def got the 192F in it. It takes about 4hrs to replace the t-stat, and the 'CTS' is right beside it. Yes, 4 hours, remember VAN, I swear there is an engine under that hood! The other day it shot up to 205F... -

Missing coolant
Sounds like a heater core. Make sure the radiator's full, drive til the truck is hot, close the windows, turn on the defrost. If it definitely is the heater core you'll get a much stronger smell, if it's a really bad leak your windshield will fog over! If it ain't your heater core hit us back, a...- dondale13

Question for ya!
Who is the original equipment manufacturer of the coolant temp sensor?? It's in a 2000 Ram 1500 Van 5.2lt. Got a 192F thermostat in it (maybe 6 months old), was at 45mph the other night, ambient temp was about 55F, coasting downhill but never dropped below 196F, water pump is still shiny it's... -

You've gotta be on to something! I just pulled the wires off the dist one at a time and the #6 cyl was firing about one out of ten times. I goin to the parts store, new wires n original equipment plugs! -

I've been getting a P0138, figured it was because of a Bosch sensor, so I did the research and got an OEM original equipment Delphi ES20046, still got the P0138. Tech Question about TPS....
I don't see any need to touch that screw, already cleaned the throttle body and put a new gasket under it, inspected the elbow for the map sensor too. On a 2000 Ram 1500 Van w/ the 5.2l, does anyone know what the output voltage is supposed to be at closed throttle, and is there an adjustment for it?
