My 2016 crew cab sport with 22 inch wheels has a payload of 884 lbs. subtract passenger weight and you can carry maybe
200 lbs. ok for me though as I rarely carry more than 100 lbs but once did haul about 800 lbs on a 150 mile trip with no issues.
i also heard that coming to a complete stop before the trans has downshifted to 1st can cause this.
I notice it more in warm weather than cold, I have a crew cab and think the slip joint in the drive shaft contributes to this issue.
After using my homelink buttons and the QTP remote controller, I have figured out the remote is way more sensitive and makes much more precise adjustments. i like to adjust mine to just barely open and use it that way around town. this is hard to do with the homelink buttons.
i bought it because it is adjustable, barely open sounds like a magnaflow, wide open sound like hell has been let loose. AWESOME!
I must have watched that BoostedMotrorsports video half a dozen times. definitely recommend watching that before attempting. even wired mine the exact same way.
Update, my new radio gets installed tomorrow.
i have to say, the Uconnect support has been excellent, been tracking this all the way. called me today to let me know the new radio in so i could make an appointment. calling me back next week to see if everything is fixed.
i have been thinking about an exhaust mod for a few months but could not decide on one. I read about the QTP Aggressor system with the remote control and figured that was the best option. mild when you need it, wild when you want it.
I bought this as a Christmas present for myself and installed...
I am going through this right now with my 2016. Been going on off and on for as long as I have had the truck. Spent last 2 days at the dealer and they said I need a new radio head unit. Uconnect support was no help. Everything in the radio seems to work fine, just get that dang message all the...
I took my 16 Ram Sport to the dealer for a routine oil change, fix the 'clunk' on the drive shaft, and figure out what is going on with my radio. (I have this red screen that says return vehicle to dealer for service) and the recall on the tail gate latch.
It had 32K miles on it and i change...
the MG 2 inch rear drop lowered my 2016 Sport Crewcab by 1.75 inches. the rear is slightly higher than the front now.
No airbags required and I tow a 4000 lb boat with it.
It is also level, no change in ride quality.
I sound like a commercial.
i did the MG 2 inch drop and did not change out the sway bar. axle is in perfect alignment, truck dropped 1.75 inches, so .5 higher in the rear than the front.
so, after having my PD installed for a couple of months and still grin every time i give it gas, I just ordered one for my wife's 2016 Cadillac XTS.
Boy is she gonna be surprised the first time she leaves for work after I install it. Driveway will never look the same.
i have had my Pedal Commander for about 3 months now and love it.
The bad news is, now when I drive my wife's Cadillac XTS, I think something is wrong with the throttle. Then I realize, oh yeah, no Pedal Commander. It makes that big of a difference.
To clear up a few confusions I have seen on the interwebs about the Pedal Commander:
1. There are really 9 settings for each of the 4 modes, 0 or normal for that mode, +1 through +4; and -1 through -4.
2. It maintains your last setting on engine off for the next restart.
3. It REALLY does make...
