Front tow hitch 2015 2500
Improperly strapping/chaining a truck down (using tow hooks), or using one tow hook to yank on for recovery puts loads on them that they were not designed to take. Using a hitch that utilizes the tow hook mounting points is not going to tweak anything, as long as you use it within its design...- Shady

My 1999 Cummins would have been my forever truck... if it had been a 4wd. A 2wd diesel is really a bad idea if you need to drive in snow or other less than marginal conditions. At least mine was terrible. Too much weight on the front axles... 90k on the clock is nothing. They really were not...- Shady

The high heat under the hood kills them. I mounted mine in an inverted ammo can under the truck and it's been working fine for over a year so far. The ammo can really seems to protect it and keeps it clean, but is well ventilated too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro- Shady

Locker down Ram floor storage safe

X2 ^ Get it checked by a reputable diesel wrencher. Diesels and gassers do require maintenance to keep them on the road. Those miles could be problematic if it was abused. 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 engine.
Looks like cosmoline to me. A rust inhibitor that it's brownish, waxy, & smells like a petroleum product. Usually it's detailed off at the dealer prior to sale. I'd take it back and have the dealer confirm what it is, and clean it up. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk- Shady

That must be new this year then. My 2016 badge camera for the front has a camera cable, with a power and ground wire spliced in. You might double check. I can't see how it would work without a power source/ground. This could be part of your problem. I also taped my connectors as they seemed less...- Shady

Best Mods for Under $100
TRUTH ^^^ It's pretty heavy... Actually for my short bed the mat weighs about 130 lbs after trimming. The 5x7 mat weighed 150 lbs before I fixed it. I suppose that is an important consideration for some. As for my 3500 CTD, it just doesn't sweat it... and it makes a fantastic base for my Arctic...- Shady
