So how did you align your bulbs in your factory projectors? I called to a guy on Facebook that found that his- ant remember what brand they were, worked better with less black shadows with them aligned where the LED chips where at 12 and 6…
I have my LEDs at 3 and 9 and I do have a couple...
So in reference to what I said, why would you want to use HID instead of LED through Alpha OBD on your headlight settings?
But OK, does your headlight setting’s really only need to change if you don’t have canbus-friendly LED bulbs or if they have those little square boxes that’s wired in line...
I may be mistaken, but I’ve heard at least once or twice that unless whatever bulbs you use don’t have those little anti-flicker devices on them that’s in line of the wiring that you want to use Alpha OBD to change your headlight to HID… I may be wrong though.
I’m sure it’s probably already been said at this point but yes, if you look up the manufacturer of these eight speed transmissions, you will find that there is indeed a maintenance interval but that’s strange your dealership told you they wouldn’t touch it because when I asked my dealership...
Hmm. I’m pretty happy with the LEDs in got from Sparksmith for my highbeams but as far as the lowbeams, I might try that some weekend, twisting them so that the blades are horizontal instead of vertical. Who knows, maybe that’ll help clear up the shadows being that the projectors are a different...
So how hard were they getting those into your highbeam sockets being that they’re kind of to the side and underneath the plastic part of the housing?
But where did you hear to clock those in your lowbeam projectors at 12 and 6? Was that something recommended by the place you bought your lights...
That’s probably just how it came up in the description because I highly doubt there’s a special 9005 for a Mazda that would be a totally different 9005 for his truck.
So do you run this same bulb in both your low beam and high beams?
And even though it doesn’t look like it on your dash but I’m assuming that in your picture where you’re showing the low beams, you don’t have your fog lights on at the same time? Because it looks like you don’t have any shadows...
So when you said 420s, are you talking about the older 420S or was that “420s” in reference to the ones I’m inquiring about?
But yeah, I wasn’t too impressed with the 421q’s, especially in price. My local discount tire has the 420S for around $200 a tire and the 421q’s that have the tread...
Well guys it’s almost time to get new tires again and I’ve been really eyeing these Nitto 420V’s in a 275/60 R20 for my 1500. Thoughts? I’ve been using the Michelin Defender LTX for about the last 5 and a half years that have been excellent so these would have some pretty big shoes to fill as...
Well guys, I was thinking this weekend I might try tackling that project of changing my JL Audio Stealthbox amp’s input signal wires from the original rear under-seat subwoofer wires to the wires that go to my front door woofers but the other night when I was pulling my front dash speakers out...
Well guys, I still haven’t yet tried using my front door woofers for my sub amp’s signal source but after playing around tonight with the fader and balance control on the radio when I was analyzing whether or not my driver side aftermarket 3.5” Infiniti Reference dash speaker was any louder...
Sorry I’m just now seeing this but you used the rear door speakers? I don’t know what stock system ya got but if those rear door speakers are what you used, that could be a big part of your problem. They most likely are only outputting the mid and high range audio.
Thank you for that, that is really helpful but yeah, I guess that makes sense because I noticed a long time ago that the two pairs of wires that go to the factory rear subwoofer are twisted also…
I actually had a similar problem like this too several weeks ago with my 2018 ram 1500 limited to where it kept trying to download an update that was being sent to it over the air and each time when I tried, it would come back as an error 20 saying the update couldn’t be installed and then I’d...
These are the OE original rear upper headliner speakers out of a 2018 Ram 1500 Limited that had the 10-speaker Alpine system. They were only used for about three months after the truck was bought brand new so they are hardly used. Asking $20 for the pair not including shipping. Shipping will be...
These were taken from my 2018 Ram 1500 about 3 months after buying the truck brand new. They were in the rear doors. They are 6x9’s. Not sure if it matters or not about the different OE sound systems but the truck these were out of came originally with the 10-speaker Alpine. Asking $30 for the...
