Just had this same thing happen to me on a 2018 Ram 2500 Turns out one of the little connectors needed to be clamped a bit more to make the connection. I was ready to replace the outlet Then my son figured it out.
I did notice some drag effect after my shell and leveling out my Ram. Or it could be the HemiFever tune I did on it. Either way I definitely get a bit worse gas milage after all my modifications but I wasn't to concerned about it.
Yeah I agree. With the Phone it isn't that much of an issue just covers the top part. But the Tablet it covers it all. I plan to close that vent when using Tablet for GPS. Most of the time though it will be my iPhone 7 which isn't bad.
So Ive had my Ram 1500 since November and Ive been experimenting with different phone tablet mounts. Thought I was settling on one of the classic mounts till a coworker of mine showed me this funny ring on the back of his Cell. When I asked he told me what it was all about. I received mine today...
I don't know if its been posted but the Cabin Air Filter should be here tomorrow. Im doing that Mod. It was a total of 30$ on Amazon for the Filter and the Cover.
Another Zones UCA Fan here. When I had my Blistins done I had the Zones UCA also put on. Glad I did. Its worth the 450$ extra to me for the security of knowing its done right.
Id look at some Zones Upper Control arms. They are made for Lifted Trucks to not put the stress on the ball Joints. This is why they say to replace them if your going over 2.8 inches with something else so you don't have this issue. Id check out the Zones but there are other manufactures that...
I bought ones on eBay 160$ and they are fantastic save some cash and go this route they are just as good as the named brand ones.

Do yourself a favor and get with Shaun at Hemifever tuning his tunes brought the beast out of my truck. He does a great job and works with you over email to get your truck running the way you want to drive it. He can also assist with any questions like this.
Tuner First the CAI really isnt much of an improvement without the Tuner. So youll get more benefit if you have to pick between the 2 from the Tuner first.
No experience with towing with my Ram yet Will be doing a lot of it this summer. But put this into perspective your probably going to putting a lot of weight on that rear end which is really going to make the front stick up.
Just did all this to my truck S&B intake along with a Diablo Tuner from Hemifever tuning. It was worth the extra money. Truck Runs amazing. Love how the S&B makes the truck Sound also. ALot more throaty.
