Traded in my Ram for a Wrangler. Pulled all my sound system stuff.
Stealthbox a little more than a year old. Amp is about 2 years old.
Stealthbox comes loaded with 10w3 wired to 2ohms. Works for 2002+.
Rockford amp is 750x1 at 1ohm and 500 at 2 ohms.
Only want to sell locally. I imagine...
Used for about a year. Traded in the Ram for a Jeep so I no longer need it.
Can only be used for Rams with the Alpine system. Not compatible with other radios.
Super easy install. Just plug and play and you can run you amps and get a flat signal.
$150 shipped plus PP fees. I’m in AZ so...
I’ve got 20x9 Fuel Mavericks with 0 offset and 295/60s without a level and it’s fine. Zero rubbing and no trimming. I’ve seen guys do 20x10 and somehow 20x10s without trimming. You’ll be fine
I’ve got the stealthbox powered to a RF 750x1 (500 watts at 2ohms). Honestly I’m not too impressed with it. It sounds ok. Installed with the PAC harness and Kicker speakers throughout with an audiocontrol 4 channel.
My mustang has a P3 in a sealed box with the same amp and sounds great. I...
In AZ. 2 years max for batteries here. Just replaced my 2016 with 40k last week. Slow start and kept resetting my radio every time I started. My mustang last 2 years but at least Ford covered that one.
You can use Katzkins. Relatively affordable and easy to do. I did a leather swap on my mustang. I’ve actually done it on a few cars. Doesn’t take more than a few hours. The only specialty tool needed is hog rings. Katzkin sells the Oem stuff for cheap when people swap out their originals. That’s...
My spray in was $350 (AZ). I haven’t really used my bed yet for anything so can’t say anything about the durability. But it looks great. They did a superb job on the install. No overspray and super clean lines.
I’d stick with you drop in unless you’re going to pay for a spray in liner. The DIY stuff is garbage and doesn’t compare. Plus you have to deal with all the prep and overspray. These guys know what they are doing.
I paid $350 for my spray in from a local shop. Now way I could have done half...
I’ve never wired a 4 channel without an aftermarket headunit so I paid a shop to do the install for the 4 channel. I installed all the speakers, mono, and amppro. They charged $120 for the 4 channel and it was well worth it.
Adding the Amppro does not affect the alpine amp. For the first few weeks I was just running my mono off it and using the stock alpine to power my kickers. Then I added a four channel for the doors. The center and rear tweeters are still running off the alpine amp.
I did mine when I picked up the truck last month. I’ve got a used 16 Sport CC. I used a rubber scraper to pop the emblem part off and just the 3M at an angle. All came off pretty easy. The letters where ghosted a little bit hit it with some rubbing compound and a little polish. All good. Took 15...
I installed mine a few weeks back. Super easy. You do have to take the radio out but it isn’t that hard. You just need basic hand tools. Unplug the harness in the back of the radio, plug in the new harness, plug in the module, run RCAs and power to amp. It’s that easy.
I’ve got 2 of these. One in my Ram pushing the JL stealthbox and the other in my mustang pushing a 12” P3. Never had any issues or complaints. For the price you can’t go wrong. Sure there are better amps but you’ll easily spend 2-3x the price and for what you’re doing it is more than enough.
Yeah. It makes better use of the aftermarket speakers you purchased as well as that sub.
If you’re going to save up for an amp I’d go with a 5 channel. Quite a few between $200-300. You can get an amp kit from amazon. I used knukonceptz and it was $32. Pretty good quality for the price. Most...
You wouldn’t need a lot of power of to push that sub. Any inexpensive amp will do it. Crutchfield has quite a few under $150 that will be more than capable of getting the job done.
The other thing with AmpPRO that you’re missing is that it takes away all the factory tuning that tries and makes...
Can 2nd going with the PAC AmpPRO. Could not be easier especially if you are looking for plug and play. Zero distortion up to full blast. I’m paired with a RF 750.1 and the single JLstealthbox. Good thump but not too overly aggressive or obnoxious. Just amped up my kickers. Did 6.5 2 ways in the...
It was pretty easy. Everything comes apart pretty easily.
Running the JL stealthbox to a Rockford 750.1 prime amp. Have the AmpPRO and ran all the RCAs on the passenger side. The AmpPRO also has a remote wire turn on ran that with the power wire down the drivers side.
I’ve also got an audio...
I just did my install this weekend. After looking at countless video and posts I went with the PAC AmpPRO. It is worth the extra cost just for the ease of use. No cutting or hacking required. Zero distortion or roll off up to full volume.
Plus if you want to go back to stock in the future it...
