Stack of 5 trailers on my 1500. A little under 8k lbs in all. I pull a load like this about 80 miles daily often. Just gotta make sure the bottom trailer has brakes.

I need to put tow mirrors on a 2014 1500 Lonestar, but am having trouble finding powered ones to install. Anybody know where I can find some if they exist?

Still haven't gotten bags or coils. Am picking up another load (but quite a bit lighter) in the morning. This time I'm not going to be pushing it with the gas pedal and passing so many people. I'll see if I can get a decent MPG. Still in the air on what I'll put in the back, but am leaning...
Very informative. Thank you. Although I just got my 1500, I have a feeling that I'll be moving to a 2500 just for comfort level while pulling a load.

Drove 60 miles with 4 trailers stacked. 7,100lb total. 20' in length. Have Prodigy P3 brake controller (which I needed because some idiot decided to walk across the highway and also drive thru Dallas city highway traffic.
First time with a load like this and it handled beautifully. People that...
Wow, I can't recommend this brake controller enough. It diagnosed the problem right away and I was able to fix the trailer in a matter of minutes. Turns out that the wiring on the rear axle was reversed. I would have never found it otherwise.
Now to actually see how it performs while...
Had a trailer that I didn't realize the brakes had an issue until the customer put it on his truck so I bought this brake controller. Apparently not only will it let me know if there are any issues, but I can read the voltage output among other things. Super excited to get it in.
Bought a...
I don't know man. I'm new in the market but $16k for a truck with 137k on it seems a bit steep. I just got a 2014 4x2 quad cab 1500 lone star for $23k. Had 20k miles only and for $575 dents were taken out and it looks brand-new

Its a softer more rubbery material. One other reason why I went with Husky. I'm in Texas and wear sandals 3/4 of the year. I can take my sandals off and they are comfortable on the softer Husky liners. Which means you'll probably want to go with Weathertech or another brand. Husky liners...
I didn't do the installation myself but got a Line-X spray in the bed and put in a Blue-Ox Flip Ball gooseneck hitch.
I don't do it very often, but occasionally have to pull/ move around gooseneck trailers (I own a trailer dealership) so I wanted one that I could have and not be seen when not...
Just put a Line-X liner in mine. They did a great job. I also had them put in a Blue-Ox Quick FlipBall Gooseneck Hitch in. That was a pain to put in (they said Rams are harder because everything is so compact underneath). I couldn't be happier.

When we bought our Honda Pilot from Sidco Auto we told them we wanted a 2-3 year old with under 25,000 miles. We gave them 3 colors, told them the trim level, leather seats and a few other small details. They told us about how long it would take given how many similar models go up for sale...
Give Sidcoauto.com a call. They are a "volumless car dealership". That is, they search auto auctions around the US for customers. I have bought 2 cars from them and really like them a lot. If anybody can help they can.
I just picked her up on the 24th. Thank you. I'll be towing a load of about 3k pounds tomorrow and will let you know. I won't be doing a bigger load until the middle or late part of January.
I am a trailer dealer. Looks like you are in Shelton. Not sure what the laws are where you live, but definitely don't get a trailer from TSC or Lowes. I could give you a million and one reasons not to. I know trailers are expensive over in your area though. About 50% to double what I sell...
