    Yes you can use a clock spring with cruise if you don't have cruise, you will just have no need for the cruise control wires just tuck them out of the way. Be sure that the clockspring is set in the correct position or you might have to do the reset turning sequence.

    Yes It will but your mileage will be what was last stored on the cluster as the mileage is stored on both the cluster and the PCM. If you have no intention in selling the truck than it shouldn't matter just make a note of how far the mileage is off. Other than that the cluster is plug and play.

    Wanted to see if anyone might know why my AC cuts out when i accelerate usually above 2000 RPM, then when i let of the gas when im up to speed the AC kicks in. Is this normal? Or a problem. My truck is a 1999 Ram 1500 Magnum 5.2 Auto trans if that helps Thanks

    I believe all trucks have the signal wire, all you need is the cluster and its plug and play. Millage will be incorrect as it is stored in the cluster. So ECU and Cluster millage will be different but shouldn't matter if you don't plan on selling it.

    Unfortunately no, 94-97 are different clusters than the 98-01. Different cluster plugs on back and fitment is different.

    I will try the second test tomorrow. The top of the battery is pretty clean as its only 3 months old. I will also do the other test mentioned and get back to you on the results.

    I followed your instructions and i did get a different reading. I am now getting .004, alot less then before. Im starting to think this is not a problem with the truck but the battery itself. What do you think?

    So i disconnected the Negative and used a multi meter with one lead on the cable and one on the neg post. I set it to 10 AMPs. It shows its pulling .031 amps when the truck is off.
