When it comes on only when you turn hard then it's probably the CV joint(s)
When they are worn bad then they make a nasyt, cracking noise when turn left or right.
Not a too expensive and complicated repair

Thanks GTyankee,
i was already on that conclusion, but i dont't connect the low voltage and all the other problems not related to the key.
Also, the problem goes usually away after i use the truck for a few weeks.
The other trouble i usually had is that tranny get stuck i 1° gear and then after...
I have almost the same problem when i come back to Costa Rica and the truck was unused for 6-9 months.

If the squealing sound is the same if you hold the steering wheel full right ot left then it's the pump
Belt noise comes usually when the belt is slipping with cold engine, but it can be the oposite and start after the engine is at operation temp
If the rires are rubbing the noise is more a low...
If your batterie had drained than the engine and tranny need to relearn and this may be the reason for the harsh shifting.
My RAM has definively electric issues and that could have lead to my shifting problem as it seems that it goes better now.
Probably disconnecting the battery over night...
Whereas the typical downshift "bump" Im pretty convinced is bad learned data
How to relearn the Transmission Control Module?
Just leave battery disconnected over night, or is there a different way to reset the way the transmission shift.
Chris
I got recommended to use Lucas Automatic Transmission Conditioner to give it a try.
Lucas advertise this as "for all trnsmission oils" so i suppose it is also for ATF4
"I added a bottle", i should have be more specific, i added a half quart / 20oz bottle, not a full fill
I think that Burla...

There is no sign that it's a lithium battery (or i can't see one)
The NoCo you mentioned will be fine, i use 4 same one for 60 - 100 ah
I have it on a cheap timer, power is...
Why tinker with one of the most important thingies for your engine life?
Belts can break and electric fans can have electrical issues, but i consider regularly changed belts as much safer.
Chris
LOL, solving the problem would basically mean that you eliminate your glowing thingies so nthat your truck is working fine as she did before you added this cool gadget ....
Chris
I did this for 2 years and every time i woke my truck up i had serious problems with it.
Ghost errors everywhere who also rendered unusable the truck and after some weeks slowly they disapeared by it self.
It may be the problem that i am not around and cannot run the engine / drive it every now...
I have the same problem and dealership fixed it twice, but the did not let me know what the culrit was.
So i have to drive every time (usually once a year) 70 miles to them and wait the whole morning till they fixed it.
I guess mine is the chassis-body mount bolts who become loose
Try to bring...
I have the same problem with same year 1500.
Sometimes it reboots continously sometime it works for days, i checked PCM connectors, they are fine, but there is probably another computer for the radio???
I found some articles that the problem is the built-in disk (if you have one) and changing...
Last update i hope,

As i guessed the problems listed in the beginning of the tread went away one after the other without that i made any repairs.
The only thing what i can immagine to be the problem is that...

I have Toyo OpenCountry A/T 305/55/20 on oem clad wheels
You (at least me) need thin spacer disks to avoid that the rire rub on the upper control arm.
Still with a thin spacer disk the tire still rub a bit on the sway bar doing full turns while parking
Yes the tire stick a bit out of the fender...
Can someone tell me where the TCM is located?
I have tranny stuck in 4th gear (limp mode), sometimes after 1 mile, sometimes after 20 miles

I have the Toyo OpenCountry AT 305/55R20 on my 1500 and on my Isuzu D-Max , no snow and mud but lot of wet and dry roads.
