What Seat covers are on your Power Wagon

https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/carhartt-super-dux-seatsaver-custom-seat-covers.SSC-SSCO They look just like the photo. If you like Carhartt duck canvas, you’ll love these. Triple stitch seams, brass rivets on back pocket, super nice fit. Made in the US…

    PW Locker Problem Data Compilation

Funny how you take a break from reading various Power Wagon forums for a couple of years and then check back. Same threads. Most guys have no clue what the engagement parameters even are for the lockers. 3 mph or less, you don’t say… Regardless, if you have an ’05-18 PW and don’t have an Able...

What Seat covers are on your Power Wagon

Meh, best covers IMHO are Carhartts made by Covercraft out of CA. I’ve had them on my ‘16 PW since new. I take them off once a year and take them to a laundromat with a big tumble washer. My cloth seats underneath look untouched.

    Slide-in camper

I’m at 9,450 dry with my Hawk and all other mods I’ve done with mine. Thuren/Daystar/AirLift/King suspension. I tow a 6,500 boat at times with it too in AZ. Does fine, but IMHO the brakes are a limiting factor as they are somewhat lackluster in the first place. For the camper that the op is...

Any former Toyota 4x4 guys here?

Meh, I've got a 1997 LX450 and a '16 PW with 80k on the clock. Guess which one has left me dead in the water. Twice. Not the Waggy. I've had one issue so far, a failed EVAP solenoid at 26k and that has been it. I wheel it hard and often with a FWC in the bed, not to mention just getting...

Power Wagon oversized replacement gas tank

I think the Long Range Automotive is the way to go, but you'd have to figure out how to tap into the existing EVAP lines and have to have a good OEM source for the fittings. Not to mention the understanding of the system. But I don't see why it couldn't be done. Issue I have with their tank...

    Air Bag opinions needed

Never heard of Silver Grove, but the AirLifts with cradles have worked great for a couple of years now with the FWC in the bed (9,450lbs dry). I went with the ones that don't have the internal bumps as I didn't want to limit upward travel. I live out West, so my PW sees some significant off-road...

    Check your air filters

So if 19+ uses the 6.7 airbox, does that mean that you can mount the second battery tray for the Cummins?

2020 Power Wagon 35" Toyo MT on Salta AEV Wheels

When I used to carry 35's in the factory location, I'd deflate to like 10psi. I have onboard air though, so it wasn't such a big deal. On the upside, they will fit easily, when they're worn out.

    Rear doors rattling from bass

My buzzing seems to come from where the plastic door card meets the metal of the door... Hero of the stupid question, when using the sound deadening materials, is it best to put it on the outer door skin, inner frame skeleton or the plastic door card itself? Or all of the above?

Anyone know what these wires are for?

I discovered one in my PW over a year after I bought it (new). I promptly removed. Didn't think about the finance company, I figured it was for dealer lot theft. I've heard nothing from the finance company so...

2018 Power Wagon - I need some ideas for better performance

2018 Power Wagon - I need some ideas for better performance

It would be cool to see parts of Maui that I haven't before. Things are slim though and its a bit of a bummer as we were to celebrate my wife's 50th over there. I hear you on lead! PWR = powerwagonregistry.org Most members on there are more of the 'actually use their PW off-road' than on here...

2018 Power Wagon - I need some ideas for better performance

Yeah, I'd toss that Pedal Commander, get AlfaOBD (for other reasons) and make sure the final output signal is correctly calibrated for those tires. But for driving around on Maui, I'd have mine in tow/haul all the time. I can only think of a couple of places where I might not. Heck, even here...

2018 Power Wagon - I need some ideas for better performance

4lo with 5.13's and 37's? Meh, it will be a bit lower then stock on 33's. But that is what you want, and you could push to 39-40's and be fine in the future if you wanted to. Doesn't matter how many speeds a transmission has. You've altered what FCA spec'd for their powertrain to operate at, at...

2018 Power Wagon - I need some ideas for better performance

Plain and simple you need to put AAM's 5.13's in and use tow/haul to keep the MDS from engaging. (I actually put a tiny dot of the fuzz side of velcro on the button so I can feel it without taking my eyes of the road) You can also hit down once on the manual shift button to limit it to 6th and...

Will 37” Spare Fit In Stock Location ???

Hence why the PW has yet to come with 35's from the factory. It will be interesting to see if the gen5 HD frame will accommodate a something larger than a 35. (35 will be a given IMHO)

    Engine temps when cold outside?

I've had Mopar replacement sitting on the shelf now for a couple of months. Back in February I noticed while driving from Phoenix to Flagstaff my temp gauge reading below normal. Since I have the Poverty Package on my PW, I switched to the digital temp: 185* (outside temp at the time was 32*)...

    AEV snorkel

It's a centrifugally airflow driven impeller designed for certain CFM specs. When I spoke with the guys at Sy-Klone on two occasions last year, they said that the 9005 needed more CFM than our engines would consistently draw off-road, or really anything not approaching redline. I got curious...

    AEV snorkel

The Sy-Klone 9005 (5" inlet) that AEV sells is the wrong size for a 392 cu.in engine. For that matter it is the wrong size for the Cummins 6.7. Its typical application is for a D6 dozer. 9001R (4") with 901K2 5" to 4" reducer is needed. I will not buy another AEV product after dealing with...

What's your thoughts on the Bilstein OEM shocks?

Well, yellow billy's are now the bottom of the barrel. Welcome to 2020.

What's your thoughts on the Bilstein OEM shocks?

As Mike (ORT) said, the yellow Bilsteins are pretty sad. They are pretty much the equivalent of the Rancho's we had in the '80's and '90's. OK, maybe a bit better, but not much. The bump steer you feel is from the rear tracbar geometry. Thuren's relo kit will fix that. Bottom line, save up...

    Seat Covers?

Carhartt by CoverCraft. Same heavy duck type canvas as their clothes, and washable in a commercial machine. Had mine three years, still look great and the seats underneath look like the day I took delivery.

ARB compressor hooked up and 35" spare.

For the money, you're better off getting a Puma, assuming you have the room. Since i have a covered shell, it is not an issue for storage, and will soon be hard mounted. Most 35's will fit if aired down. If Aluminess ever gets my rear bumper built, that issue will also be solved.
