It turned out to be the ignition coil, it had a hairline crack along the bottom end where water was going up into it. Went to the auto parts store to grab one and ended up with a full ignition tune up. Oh well I guess, at least now I know I need to do an upper intake gasket because cylinder 8 is...- glipman

I've read that the pickup and the ignition (resistor?) Before the cap can cause this problem if they begin to go out but don't quit immediately "inspirational quote" - someone- glipman

5.9 1998 1500, it starts fine and idles alright but once I get going at random points it becomes so bogged down it's undrivable, idling just barely above 250 rpms. It has happened more recently when it is wet outside, hell of alot of rain in the north of Indiana lately! I don't know how well it...- glipman

Check your o2 sensors,ake sure they are reading correctly. I'm facing this problem myself and I've been digging deep in the interwebs it's not a simple answer but it's a place to start. This issue is cause by multiple components it turns out, ranging from fuel to ignition to your battery...- glipman

The light works and it has brakes. I followed the line and it's plugged up at the body. It is a rubber hose that runs into the block for the brake lines "inspirational quote" - someone- glipman

Surprisingly the whole underside was recoated with liner! One of the major sellers for me, the doors and upper wheel wells on the rear are the only rust spots :) I live I Indiana myself so we get salt packed in ever nook and cranny unfortunately, I'm looking forward to spraying it all down and...- glipman

I'm actually looking into new bumpers on the front and rear, when I purchased it the pass. Light assembly was blown out, after removing it and spending 30 minutes docking around with it I found that the previous owner managed to nudge the whole bumped back an inch or so!
