Nope I bought mine from the retroshop but did all of my warranty stuff through trs themselves. Just show them proof of purchase

Every ram I came in to contact with has done it. The headlights will dim for a fraction of a second at very random spaced out times. All rams I’ve seen do it are 15+ years. Mine my dads my buddies. Super hard to notice but if your paying attention you see it. Also my side markers on my...
I’m pretty sure that’s normal for everyone. Even my led fog pods flicker. You’ll notice even your headlights randomly flicker. Even your stock headlights.

Yeah just pay close attention to that drivers side beam at night I didn’t like the way that looked at all but it certainly could have been the bulb. Here’s the intensity of a 55w HID kit. But FYI if you want to keep the blue tint get 6500k or even 8000k bulbs. The extra power will wash out a lot...
You’ve got something going on with that driver side projector. Even with led bulbs it shouldn’t be like that. Send those pictures in to who you got them from. To be sure you can slap a halogen bulb back in there and see if it looks the same. No need to hook the hid kit back up.

Bigger hot spots might seem like it means better lighting but that’s not ALWAYS the case some times scatter can be mistaken as a big hot spot. These beams are heavily distorted the passenger side hot spot is a way different size and the light is bending off the projector different. The passenger...
I’d stick with hids. You can see the distortion in the led beam. Not good. For some reason your hid kit seems very weak. Like worse than halogen weak. But like you said it is day time. May want to think about a 55w kit

I downloaded the update to a 5gb flash drive twice after formatting the drive each time. When I plug it into the truck nothing happens. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong

I disconnected the battery on my 2017 Sport to install my CAI. I had the battery disconnected for no more than 2 hours. After connecting the battery and starting the truck my clock has been wrong. I have the 6.4 uconnect. The settings are set to “sync with gps” could it be that my home location...
How can the user in any way align the projector without opening the lenses? You need to calm your shit princess. It’s a manufacturer flaw. Good god.

From what I understand the melting happens when the projector isn’t aligned properly. Mine are going on a year old now and I’m not having any melting issues. Hope it stays that way.

Stripping the chrome should be the only thing you consider. You need to give it a raw surface for the paint to adhere to

Drilling holes will likely be unavoidable but plastic inserts don’t cost too much to replace if you ever change your mind and take it off. In terms of mounting brackets. I used aluminum and cut it to the size and shape I needed. Only cost me the light bar. You can go to any business that does...
Well the width of the output comes from the projector itself not the bulb. That being said, although there are leds out there that perform better than others and might pass as acceptable, there still has yet to be a single led that surpasses hid performance. Not even oem LEDs. The closet LEDs...
If you can swing it a retro fit is always a better option and the retroshop has some cool stuff. Built by hand and HIDs with a good aftermarket projector is always the best option. I will one day go that route. Maybe when my note is paid.

You’re still losing a lot of usable light. If someone has projectors the best thing they can do is go HID or spend the money and do LED the right way with either a retrofit or led housings ie alpha rex or Morimoto

I promise you you are losing a lot of light. Projectors that are specifically made for LEDs have mirrors inside and don’t have the typical bulb shape to utilize as much light as possible.
You can’t tell me LEDs in factory projectors looks like this.
Even LEDs in LED projectors can’t touch...
