    It's shifting weird now. I can floor it, and the rpms will go up, but won't shift until I let off the throttle. Once I hit 45-50 I can hold the accelerator down and nothing happens. This is all of the sudden! She had been getting hotter than normal but driving fine!

    You can see the hose starts where my speedo cable goes t's into the break booster, and plugs in the rear of the carb.

    No. It comes off the break booster. The part name for the filter is break booster filter. It attaches to the back of my carb, and the pcv is on the other side.

    How's your ignition coil? I had the same issue. I replaced the coil and that took care of it. If it's not your coil it does sound like the ground to your chassis.

    I'm not sure about where you live, but Alabama that's $500-$800. That's if you want them to do only those spots. It will also depend on how far up the metal is weakened from the rust. You could probably do most of it yourself, and take her to get her sprayed over to blend the paint.

    Still having issues She's almost there, but not quite! She bogs at low throttle, but will kick up if I mash it. However she doesn't have the power when I mash it that she did have! She also is nearly silent in park. I had the timing checked. I don't know what's going on!

    I cleaned the carb really well. I believe I have a charcoal filter by my tank. I cleaned black granular pieces from every crack. Should I replace my entire fuel line, and get rid of that filter? I've already got one befor the carb.

    I also read where you said to run 15w40 to help clean the engine. I live in Alabama where it stays pretty warm. How often and how long should I run that oil to help clean my engine out?
