I'm also seeing 60 degree numbers cold and low 50's hot idle. Engine temps are normally 185 coolant and 195-205 engine oil. This is on a stock pump and engine running Amsoil 5w-30
thermostats are hit and miss. I am running a 180 that opens up fully at 187. I replaced it with a brand new on that didn't fully open up till 193. I can tell by watching coolant temps drop when driving on a cold engine. The coolant temps will creep up till the thermostat fully opens then the...
I have a Pioneer 7600nex coming and I know I will need the maestro. However the Ram kit 1 is out of stock everywhere and it has the t harness to connect the maestro to the factory harness. Is the t harness the same for the challenger/charger/jeep of the same year? I don't need the dash kit just...
got any pics of the finished install? I'm looking to do the same with one of their 9" screens if I can find one. How do you like it and integration "features" that you don't like?
Swapped mine out about 2 months ago on my 17 with 90K. Could not figure out where a ticking was in the front of the engine. Changed out several pullies and nothing. Changed the water pump and the bearings were shot.
oem fob or aftermarket. When I added push button start to my '17 I needed new fobs. I got one oem and one guaranteed to work aftermarket. Oem works flawless. Aftermarket works 95% of the time. locking unlocking doors starting truck etc.
I might go that route. I did a ceramic on mine a couple of years ago and it's held up ok. I still will throw a coat of cermic wax on it from time to time so I think that added to its health. my problem is I like to detail and there are very few products I've found that do the black justice. I...
How much of an application pain was it? Have you used any of their other products? I am a junkie when it comes to car cleaning products always looking for the next thing. I've done the ceramic. Not overly impressed with the longevity. I park outside a chemical plant so I know mine gets hit...
Gone, I did then about half way through 2-3 between 1500-2000rpms I would get it all back and then some. Felt like the throttle was sticking or in a bind then all of a sudden let loose. I put my original unported one back on and everything went back to acting like before except much better...
So I threw my original unported throttle body back on yesterday and all of the issues I was having disappeared. So new question. The original throttle body is an AB(last 2 of the part number) the ported one is an AC version. I am now wondering if the electronic side of the ported TB has an...
So I dropped the 6.4l intake on the truck a couple of weeks ago as well as what I was told/sold was a fastman throttlebody. When driving wot no problems. When idling it seems to idle a little high. Haven't put the programmer on it to see what it is actually running though. However what I have...
Here is my '17. I have the oem 22's with the 285 tire. I'm most likely going to go up to the 305 as well as it is a closer to the 20" rim with the oem tire size and it gives a little more side wall. The only reason I didn't in the beginning is that the tires were brand new that came with the rims.
What the carplay unit does is connects via bluetooth and converts it over to a wireless network connection somehow. I've been using one for about a year or so. I not sure of what causes the random flakyness. the headunit or the dongle. I know when using waze and spotify it will flip out...
Same here. always around 1500 to 2k. I have ARH long tubes as well. I have gone through to make sure nothing is touching. might need to go through again. Mine are wrapped so idk if it might be a stainless strap that moved rattling. I had went back through them maybe I missed one.
is it an aftermarket fob. When I added the push button start, I got an aftermarket fob. It locked/unlocked the doors just fine but starting was random. Purchased a new oem key and never had an issue since. I kept the other as a backup.
I have a '17 1500 with the 8.4. I found a oem chsm camera from a 3500 and installed. There is a little wiring fun to run the wires and pin them in the oem harness. I did it with wire from home depot and used the alpha/obdlink to activate it. Works great.
Not really. I got a lower $$ focal 3 speaker kit. I had trouble getting the speaker to fit in the hole. I drimmeled a good bit out. I ended up getting a 1/8" mdf and fabbing a new top plate out of that and mounting the speaker through it to where it sits on top of the dash. I need to go back...
I got it started by hand and a rubber hammer. Made sure it was straight and used my rigid electric impact. I watched it closely and took my time to make sure i didn't mess up the rubber seal. It is only rated for 450lbs and didn't have any issue getting it or back on.
