    The first small mod should be done at the dealership, a tailgate shock to prevent the gate from slamming open. I got the dee zee version put on on at the dealer! Every pick up ever sold should come with one!

    I did install a compressor, switch, and four horn solution. I also beefed up the regular horn by adding 3 tuned type normal horns to the existing horn system for sound and tone. Then, for a real blast , I hit the air horn, but not on a public road.

    I changed out the diff oil to Royal Purple at the same time as putting the Purple Cranium covers on. Also I got them to paint them in bright red and, it matches the truck very well.

    The actual measurement is 34.75" and as for the fender flares I had the dealer install before I took the truck, they and the fender guards are mopar "RAM" parts. So are a lot of other parts RAM.

    Afe rebel series exhaust

    The dual exhaust fits mine on both sides very well. 4" exhaust, 5" tip. The sliders only cover to the end of the cab tho. The box has no step.

    I do have a bit difference, I always have 10,000lbs on and test my trailer brake control on a trun. It never whines or comes undone. I don't spifically know what the grade is but my speed isn't very fast in 4xlow.

    I find the hill decent control, works very well even with 10,000lbs on a 21' flatbed trailer. I just flip the knob, turn on the trailer brake control, the hill descent control, and, the tow haul button, and I'm good to go. It doesn't even feel like I have a trailer on at all.

    I use an AMP Research 2" extension. They don't tuck up entirely under the truck for that hidden look. They do hang down , but, they offer better protection for sliders and allow a further drop of the step for shorter people to enter the truck cab. It also provides for better cleaning on the top...
