Exhaust Tips & Fog Lights For Sale

Potentially interested in the fogs. Do they accumulate any moisture? I'm on my 4th pair and can't seem to stop moisture from getting in them. What color temp are the bulbs? How many miles? How much chipping/scratches in the lenses?

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

I take it no issues? Looks like oem CV's as well? What struts are you running? I never had any issues with the oem struts and bds spacers.

    What are they even using?

Yeah, but you did quite a bit more custom fabrication than I can do lol.

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

On second thought, I need to just sell the Cardone HDs. I just remembered that the thicker shaft was rubbing into the fox mount lower tower that connects to the LCA

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

To be fair, the Cardone HD only lasted about 5 months with parking lot turns. I'm going to see if they'll replace it under warranty, but their warranty info looks sketchy. I'll have a shop swap it out. Don't have time to mess with it, especially with it getting cold. Have to replace my rear...

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

The trackmotive on the passenger side sure didn't last long. Haven't done any offroading or anything crazy. Heard a loud pop in the front passenger side backing into the driveway last night and this is the result....

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

So I got everything buttoned up with the new trakmotive cv axels. Still getting a little pop in the front under the same conditions but it's not nearly as loud, which does lead me to believe it was the cv axels. Craziest part is my cv axel angles look a bit better now.

    Front driveshaft damage

Neato, keeping the streak going. I guess I'll just run it as is until it conks out and then get a double cardan custom driveshaft, which I should have just done in the first place. I didn't recall this being much of an issue though, so I didn't bother. The tear is maybe a couple inches at the...

    Front driveshaft damage

    Nope, just the BDS lift

I can already see the difference that the shaft for the trackmotive tapers down providing more clearance.

    Front driveshaft damage

I took my truck into the shop to diagnose a front pop, long story short, and not to divert from the point of this thread... I ended up having them throw in the new front driveshaft I had on hand. I noticed the old one around 85k miles had the cv boot busted. Currently have 120k miles. I was...

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

I'm wondering if I should have left well enough alone and kept my stockers. I got a spare set of the Cardone HD, but if I have problems with the trakmotive, I may end up trying oem out. Super hesitant on the Cardone with the grinding away on the coilovers. Is there maybe an install issue I may...

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

Passenger side coilover looks dug into a bit worse. Anybody else have these issues with the fox 2.5?

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

After taking the Cardone HD out yesterday, I noticed it was rubbing into my fox coilover quite a bit, so I decided to throw in the traxmotive xtt. There was also grease all over the LCA and lower coilover tower from the cv axel. Clearance is much better. Haven't gotten to the passenger side yet...

I'll confirm about Napa on Monday. I actually just ordered those since I could get them $45 cheaper and get $20 in rewards

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

Just got the duralast extended travel cv axels. Looks like they're the trakmotive ones rebranded for autozone based on the CH-8256XTT. Bummer, Chinese junk as well. I'm really torn, I may just put these in and carry around the Cardone HD as backup incase I have issues far from home on my fishing...

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

Yeah, looking at pictures, I'm wondering if the autozone ones are the same as the trackmotive. I ordered the extended ones from autozone since I found a 20% off code and I can easily return them. We will see what they look like when they arrive tomorrow. I haven't done any offroading though...

Honestly those look a bit steeper than I recall. I could have sworn I checked the cv angles after install and they looked pretty good

Public Service Announcement - Cardone CV Axels

BAD PARTS WARNING - TLDR Cardone parts are cheap Chinese junk for the past 5 years per reputable mechanic as experienced with my own personal failure after 6 months of road use. Long version: About 6 months ago I put in my fox 2.5 coilovers on my 6 inch bds lifted 2015 and while I was down...

New Coilovers with 6 Inch BDS lift

The truck is level with the setup I have. I know I racked my brain forever on the math but you can't just do simple math due to compression and what not. If you look at my measurements, front and back ground to oem fender middle measurements are the same between front and back except for half an...

    2016 Radiator needs replacement

I didn't realize the cold case radiator was previously mentioned. I've had one sitting in a box for over a year. First one arrived with a crack in it. The welds were crap too. The replacement arrived with phenomenal welds. So if the first one is crap, inspect thoroughly for damage to get a free...
