    Finally worked using 39.5 and the 21.9 map file, restored navigation maps. Now will do again tomorrow to go back upto 39.6 but this time will include the 21.9 map files. I have seen on jgc forums a 22.5 and other higher updates for maps wonder if ram will get any?

    Finally figured out how to unzip the 21.9 file, have to use 7zip and open the archive to then unzip it, anyway now trying to reload the maps but cannot get the radio to react. Anyone else find a way to reload the map files after losing them during an upgrade? I am at the 39.6 version currently...

    I have these and unless I am going crazy they do not fit, as in at the dash. There is a gap due to how the curve is greater on the 4th gen than the 5th gen HD trucks. Otherwise everything else lines up. The B pillars are fine, so just the A pillars in question.

    The file is on the google drive we have access to. I was finally able to unzip it using win7zip. Now trying to figure out why the 39.6 file unzipped will not initiate the update boot on the radio. Anyone else having issues trying to load the 39.6 on the truck?

    Thanks all, before I seen the responses I said f it and took her out for a test run on the highway. All is well. To be safe I took apart the ds tc end and slide it back on shaft to protect it.

    For me in order to get the icons to appear after applying all the correct alfaobd settings it ultimately took updating the uaq software to the latest.

    Specifically can you remove the front driveshaft on a 4th gen 1500 4x4 with 8 speed trans and drive short term or long term? Any issues with throwing codes etc? My front ds is shot with no local resources to get another within a week or two. TIA.
