    Rear Sliding-Glass Locking Latch (replacement)

Hey Guys.. just wanted pass along a tip for anyone who needs to replace the locking-latch on their rear sliding-glass. I've had to replace the locking-latch a few times on my '95, b/c the plastic latches are designed to fail at the hinge & at $35.00 a latch they're not cheap to replace. So I've...

    Steering box?

Sounds good, but don't over tighten the steering-box adjustment b/c it'll prematurely wear-out. Keep in mind, there's a lot of steering-joints on a 4x4 so some of the excessive play you're feeling could be coming from a worn suspension part.

    Needs some opinions?

On my '95 2wd, I've had a few different wheel & tire combinations. Right now, I'm running 3rd-gen 17" factory-wheels with 265-70-17 tires & I haven't had any issues with tire rub. The 265-70-17 are roughly the same height/diameter as a 31/10.5/15 tire. But i did replace the speedometer gear to...

    Steering box?

I bet you're happy to get that job done, but there'll always be some play w/a steering box & if it's less than an inch of play at the steering wheel, than mission accomplished. The reason why Dodge switched to a rack & pinion steering system on the 3rd-gen.

    Steering box?

Being the original steering-boxes are a notorious weak-link on the 2nd-gen. Any new steering-box will be a big improvement that should last another 20yrs. i would go with the O'Reilly masterpro & change the hose too, since you're able to get a good deal on the parts. But it's a tough job if...

    Rear sliding latch

Yep, mine's broken too.. I've tried to figure out how to make them last, but by it's design they're guaranteed to fail. Ford also used this same latch back in the 80/90's on the F-150 & Ranger, b/c I've tried to find a latch from another auto manufacture to adapt on the 2nd-gen. But If you...

    1994-97 Broken AC/Heater Control Knobs

Being an owner of a '95 Dodge Ram, I've had to replace the large factory AC/Heater Knobs a few times over the years b/c of a design flaw by Chrysler. These knobs used to be so cheap, I just bought a new one without a second thought. But now days, a single Mopar replacement knob will cost between...

    brake issues

From what you've described, I would also check the rear differential to see if the gears are worn & check the rear differential's bushings/spacers too. Could be the the gears aren't lining-up correctly. Also recheck the rear brake cylinders to make sure they're releasing the brake shoes...

2000 Ram 1500 5.2 Bad ECU or Something Else?

If this wasn't a problem before he installed the new fuel pump, than it sounds like the new fuel pump has a bad pin within the electrical connectors or maybe a wire was pinched during installation. Might want to visually inspect the wiring & if it looks good, I would replace the fuel pump.. again.

    How can this be posible?

Your problem may be linked to the Control Timer Module (CTM).. Most of your truck's accessory electronics are integrated through the CTM. Research the CTM for your year of Truck & make sure all the CTM's connections are plugged in.. good luck on your project.

    Looking for Hemi

I would love to drop a Hemi in my '95, but it's a challenging task.. There are a couple of guys on YouTube who did the Hemi swap & made it work. I Had a friend who owned a "77 4x4 SWB Power Wagon that was badazz. It would keep going where the other trucks stopped, but he was a bit crazy too.. lol

    Front Brake Disc & Pads

I agree.. I prefer slotted rotors over drilled & slotted.. I think you're both right about using semi-metallic over ceramic pads, so I'm going to invest in a premium set of stock rotors w/semi pads. thx

    Front Brake Disc & Pads

Thanks for the info. i'll check out some other brake kits too. My truck is just a 1500 RWD w/stock suspension & doesn't do a lot of heavy duty hauling.. I've been wanting to install a lowering kit & some 20's to make it more of a street truck cruiser.

    Front Brake Disc & Pads

Need to replace the front brake & pads on my '95.. wondering if anyone has heard of Max brakes .com .. I know they're a Canadian based company & read some reviews on amazon & facebook.. Loose wire in the engine compartment

For some reason I can't see the picture you've posted (could be my computer, not sure). So I can't tell if the green wire is a factory or aftermarket wiring. But if the fuse is blown, whatever it electrifies isn't going to work until you replace the blown fuse. (I would trace the green wire to...

'95 Mainframe & Top Dash Replacment

While replacing the top dash cover on my '95.. the whole mainframe dash cracked & broke. So for the last few months I've been replacing the whole dash assembly. I bought the mainframe from a guy who parted out a '97 2nd-gen, but I had to drive to a neighboring state to get it. (for the price...

    Needing Help with Underdash Wiring

So far, I have 3 of the 4 connections figured out. Because a '95 Ram doesn't have the OB2 plug-in, 2 of the connection are plug-in links to test the computer & the Air Bag/ABS safety features on the truck & the 3rd connection is used during assembly by the Dodge Plant. Each of the 3 connections...

I had to replace the whole main-frame dash & top-dash cover, but it's taken me a few months to find the parts I needed to complete the job. So I've forgotten where some of the wiring goes.. I'm hoping someone can tell me where these wiring connections plugs in to. (95 Dodge Ram Sport, 5.9...
