We got in to a couple good stripers in the morning and some good size bass that evening
Here's a pic of one bass not very good because my father in law decided to video it so I just tried to screen shot a still of the video
So today I completed my first real tow with my 17 Ram express QC pentastar with 3.55. I'm mainly typing this out because i have found there's not a lot of towing information out there for the pentastar.
I towed my father in laws 18ft ski/fish boat about 70 miles round trip. The boat weighs...
I have a 2017 with the exact same setup. I'm already running the same tires and wheels (275/60r20) as they came stock. I could see some power diminishing but I have never felt my truck to be underpowered tho. I have 3.55 gears. Do you know what gears you are running?
So I know you've been asked a couple times now but the Herculiner looks great and I'm just curious if is it still holding up as well? you just did 2 coats correct? Thanks! Great looking rig!
Love the stance! Tires really set it off and you have a great looking truck! Have you had a chance to notice how much those tires reduce power with the pentastar? I'm sure your mpgs will take a hit also could you post how much when you get a few miles on her? Thanks!
Not familiar with the lund nerf bars myself but if you were able to pull up the installation instructions it would probably give you a good idea of whether they will not on or not. Not sure if your looking for black or chrome bars but I recently got a set of Tyger risers off amazon in matte...
I've had the ole pentastar up to 105 just to see where the governor sat and she still had some to give and obviously I never hit a governor. I don't feel comfortable whatsoever pushing it any further lol
Appreciate the info satxwy! I'm running the pentastar also but with 3.55 gears. Looking at those exact tires the other day although I still have quite a bit of miles left on the stock tires (which are 275/60/20) before I make a purchase! Feel better about going a little bigger now!
Got my running boards on! Big fan of the look. They are the Tyger Risers. Got them off Amazon for 160! I think they look great and seem really stout. Putting them on was a breeze and now just to see how they hold up!
Hey man plain and simple I don't think you will be disappointed in the Ram! My good friend has 2016 f150 2.6 eb that he's done a few things too and man that thing will scoot. I have 2017 Express but I have the pentastar v6 (which I love!) so I won't even speak to performance or speed difference...
This week I leveled her up and debadged the side Ram 1500 badges. My running boards should be here today and installed tomorrow! I'll post some pics after I get them on.
So here's a picture of the passenger side upper ball joint. I only have 3000 miles on the truck so I'm sure the ball joint itself is good to go but obviously the boot is not seated right and the seal seems pretty jacked (I'm not a mechanic and my car knowledge is limited). I have searched all...
Today I installed a 2" Hell Bent Steel level on the front. Looks great and had a lot of fun with the install. Except... the passenger side steering knuckle was a ***** to get off the upper ball joint. here's a pic of how she sits tonight!
Hey guys so I leveled my truck up today and it looks great but I have a concern that I would like some advice on. So I have a brand new 2017 express. so while doing the passenger side I could not get the steering knuckle to come off the upper ball joint and it was a huge pita. I was banging it...
Dang sharp looking rigs marsh and arivers! What are you guys using in terms of wax or detailer to make the color pop?
Arivers what size tires are you runnin?

So I have a 2017 QC express in brilliant black and I love it even tho I may kill myself trying to keep it clean... I'm leveling it up on Monday and looking into pocket flares. I love the look of it especially painted to match and there's a lot of sharp trucks on here that have them. I'm curious...
Alright maybe another quick question.
Looking at leveling and obviously everyone is pro bils which is totally understandable. But I measured the truck and have 2.5 inches of rake. My question is should I just be safe and get the 2 inch hell bent steel spacer and hopefully have no issues with...
