Lifter noise
Do any of you guys get the lifter noise on first start up? I have almost 12k on my 6.4 now. It has been doing it since new pretty much, not all the time though its random and will only do it for about 2 seconds. But, 2 seconds is a long time. Bad ecm
The first thing that I would try is unplugging the PCM and see if it still blows the fuse. If it does not blow, the PCM is most likely your culprit and shorting out internally.- Dodge4x4810

Better brake pads
I only have 11k on mine and they squeak like a bastard. Just bought good ceramic pads (forget what brand, but they were very good ones). The stock pads are semi-metallic. When they get hot, they squeak and make a lot of brake dust. Ceramics make no noise and literally no brake dust.- Dodge4x4810

It's hard to say without looking at it. I do not think I have had a solenoid or actuator out of a hemi. Is the solenoid and actuator all one unit, or are they seperate? What was the cam/lifter issue? Unfortunately, because you said it runs better after you clear the code, that is telling me that the vtc solenoid is not stuck. Definitely sounds like the timing is off.- Dodge4x4810

Coolant Smell
The only time I had to top it off is the first time I took the cap off. A shit load of air came out, so I'm assuming there was just air trapped in it from the factory that and it wasn't all bled out for some reason. I just picked up oem cab length running boards (the exact factory ones) and have weathertech splash guards. Does anyone have this setup?
