Bump. Only thing we can think is that it's pushing the park rod too far in making it hard to pull it out when truck is sitting on a hill putting pressure on it? But why is rod under any stress when it should slide out regardless
2004 cummins 48re 4x4
Transfer case was cracked and leaked all fluid out and blew case up, also cracked the tail housing. (Probably shop didnt torque to spec who knows)
Used a tail housing from a 46re said to swap parking rods and never did so never had park... Torque converter got stuck...
I unplugged both o2 sensors on my 98 v10 and got p0152, and p0132 which shows me bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. So I guess I don't have a post cat o2 sensor which is awesome but it's pretty awesome to have this setup from the factory
Well I stacked 65 bails on the old dodge today. When empty it went on the highway the first time in 3 years since the front end was shot. So far everything is new and replaced except tires and body work lol. With stock tire and 5.13s it goes 70 around 2800rpm. It went from 70 to 100 in a couple...
Sounds great but I need to remove the air pump that was originally for the cat.. lol. Nothing like pumping fresh air into exhaust for emissions.. anyway it whines and sounds awful seen some write ups on guttint it but truck sounds like a viper. I love it. Pushing 3k rpm around 70 with stock tires.
I've been very busy but Got all new brake lines on it and removed ABS box and put proportion valve for rear brakes. The speedo problem ended up being a bad wire that was discovered doing brake lines. Got a mirror for passenger side and got a new fender too for passenger. In search of driver...
Guys I was wondering if there's a way to see if my truck has a downstream/upstream.. the shop that did my exhaust put 1 o2 on each pipe and if one is a downstream I'd like to remove it and put wideband..
Put new actuator cable in and 4wd is flawless. You know with stock tires, 5.13 gears, and 4 low, that v10 will idle and overpower the rear brakes.... I better get 35s before winter. Removed front hitch to get snow plow mount on.. fun weeks to come.
Noticed my 4wd wouldn't engage. I have a cable actuator by posilok or something.. so I took it apart and ended up finding the cable was melted to itself by the new headers a shop put in. Sooooo now I'll try to get a hold of the people that make these before winter comes. Lol
