Why do trucks still come with carpeted floor mats?
Curious as to what most prefer. I buy rubber slush mats and the carpeted just end up stored somewhere with every new truck I buy. Seems to me the slush mats should be standard and the carpeted optional. -
Who has had their 8spd repaired?

Power door lock problem
I have a 2011 1500 laramie and the power locks will unlock with the button on the door but will not lock. Will lock and unlock with the fob. Just put in a new door master switch and nothing changed. Any ideas? Thinking its the door module since all the wiring looks fine. -
For those that have broken eazy outs trying to extract a bolt.
I broke a bolt on my diff cover a couple days ago. Not the first time I've broken the head off a bolt so no panic. I drilled out the centre of the bolt the usual way. Centre punch the middle and proceed to drill it out for an eazy out. This time however the eazy out broke in the hole. Now panic... -

how cold are your cold starts and how do you prepare your truck
Right now it's cold outside. I'm using the oe block heater. Mopar battery warmer. 5W20 mobil1 synthetic. I used wire terminal cleaner on all my latches to get out moisture prior to loading them up with white lithium grease. Tailgate is frozen shut because I forgot to do it, but the tonneau still...- BWL

My 2011 ram with nav, which I have fully updated shows me road speed limits and also my actual speed beside it, which turns red when I'm speeding.
