    IMHO there is really nothing wrong with the 68rfe except the coating in the bores of the valve body in some sold around 15-18 I think.     Looks like you're running a diesel so I recommend the Toyo's. The Toyo's wear better on my diesel 2500 and 3500 trucks then anything else I've tried over the years. Between the weight and torque of todays trucks the Toyo's cost me less per mile than any other tire.

    I put Bilstein 5100 on any new truck I buy within 20k to 30k miles. If you're already having issues make the dealer replace the bad ones under warranty then swap them out after 36k. As said above, don't go cheap.

    Just my opinion. Once you add HD tires (min 80psi), maybe higher rated rear coil springs and possibly air bags you'll have about the same ride empty as the 2500.

    I got 212k out of my 2015 68RFE before I sold it to get my 2021 3500 HO. I used that truck like it was designed to be used without issue. I don't abuse my equipment and always keep it maintained.
