    Is it a bench seat? or 2 separate seats with the center console? cause if it the latter then all yoy do is reach under the console and you find 4 bolts holding it in, take that out then the drivers seat next easy pezzy.

    Save your money and leave it stock. These magnum engines are built for trucks only, good torque but low horsepower. Trying to get horsepower is very expensive$$$

    All the above. Did you change the flexplate or the flywheel, they are different between the 2 engines.

    I won,t use spacers. period> Look for a set of Pace truck, or SS/T wheels. I have 4 sets of them here. They are 17/ by 9 and made by American Racing.

    The 5,9 has a bit more horsepower and torque. But they also suck back a lot more fuel.

    Sounds like the IAC is sticking. Its located at the back of the throttle body. Apperently they get gunbed up, and need to be cleaned. Hope that helps.

    Here what I have , 2 ram 1500 2wd sb. Both trucks are 1998 model years. One is a 5 speed tranny behind the 5.2. The other is a 5.9 behind an automatic tranny.     When I put those on the back of my truck the EYE on the bottom was a bit to big for the bolt, causing a lot of noise.
