Mine failed at about 120k. 2014.

    Android Auto on 2014 Laramie?

Thanks guys. The solution sounds more complicated than I'm willing to deal with. I'll just launch Google Maps on my phone to check what Uconnect is telling me. Maps often shows much smarter routes.

    Android Auto on 2014 Laramie?

Is there a way to use Android Auto with Uconnect on 2014 Ram Laramie? I would much prefer to use Google Maps for navigation. The Uconnect navigation is awful.

Gushing about my 2019 Laramie 1500

Scotty Kilmer hates almost everything. I have just about 120k on my '14 Laramie. So far only regular maintenance. Runs great. Rides great. Looks great. No mods. Tow a 5k TT with it. Grade my mile long gravel road with it. Removed wrinkled tape on door posts. Love this truck. Everybody...

    Talk me off the cliff....

I bought my 2014 1500 Laramie 16 months ago with 93,000 miles on it. It now has 107,000 miles. Other than a couple of minor irritations with a few electronics quirks (like the sometimes disobedient GPS) it has been flawless. I love this truck. And it looks better than all the rest.

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

The Sylvanias are substantially better than the originals. Of course the originals were 4 years old so that may have something to do with it. New bulbs are adequate. Moving on from headlight issue.

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

Well, the installation went much more smoothly the second time. Everything came off easier and the whole thing took about 20 minutes. Used Sylvania Silverstar Ultra - learned that those are identical to ZXE without the blue hue. I hate the blue lights. Anyway, job done, lights work...

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

Actually, the Sylvania bulb packaging says 9012(H1R2). It's both!

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

I may have figured this out. I misread the manual - H11 is for the Quads, H1R2 is for Projectors. Although I found a website that says it's a 9012. Both numbers appear on my bulb. I'll sort it out. I guess my frustration is self-inflicted. I'll go with H1R2 and have at it again.

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

I have read many of the threads on the forum regarding HID, LED, and H9 upgrades, all of which require some kind of retrofit. I've also read where some have been satisfied with brighter-than-stock halogens. I want to try that first. My main concern is that the specified H11 bulb doesn't fit...

Headlight bulb upgrade - please help

Iv'e had my 2014 1500 Laramie for a year now. I love this truck! I'm usually in another vehicle driving at night so I didn't realize how awful the headlights are until just a couple of weeks ago. I want to upgrade the bulbs in the projector headlights to something brighter. Not interested in...

    Ram-cum-motor grader

Nothing redneck about it. This machine is as effective as a motor grader. The blade articulates 3 ways, allowing the operator to properly shape the road, something one cannot do with tractor and box blade.

    Truck Bed Ladder

I keep a 2' step ladder in the bed. It's always there when I need it, anywhere around the truck, and not attached to get in the way of anything .

    Home-made rack

It's the wind passing over the open ends of the tubes, like when you blow accross the top of a beer bottle.

No noise with this one. I don't even like it when the ladder up top whistles in the wind.

    Home-made rack

I have wrestled with the dilema of choosing between a tonneau cover and utility rack. The tonneau is much more desireable as a full-time accessory for me. I don't want a rack on my truck full time; only occassionally when I need it to haul lumber or ladders or canoe and don't want/need to use...
