    More EV Wintertime Fun

Lived in AK for a few years until very recently and would see all different kinds of EV's driving around with no issues in the winter. I see the issue akin to ICE vehicle drivers going until they run out of gas. You can't live in a place where temps get to below -45F and not ensure your vehicle...

    Rebel / TRX

Being Military and a civilian Paramedic that moonlights on the side, I can say that the Rebel (with its oh so sweet bags) has made my life so much easier getting gear in and out of the back, loading heavy equipment, and keeping a level profile when towing or loading down the bed. The TRX is cool...

    In cab heat question

It's interesting how -20 is the temp things get weird. I'm up in Fairbanks and am generally good between 31 to -19, but once -20 hits, things start to act up. When it gets down to -50 nothing wants to work... not that I blame it, at that temp I don't either.

Any way to FORCE cabin recirc on remote start?

I have a 2018 Rebel and want to keep the heat set to cabin recirc vs outside air on start. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a way to make that work. Reason being there is a significant difference in cabin temp when you switch between the two. Anyone know of a way to make it work?

    Electric Ram 1500

In the state I lived in where I bought the vehicle at the time I literally paid twice as much for vehicle registration on my EV as I did on my Ram every year...

    Electric Ram 1500

Absolutely have to agree with the first bit... so political, so quickly, and hate government regulating. To switch it up a bit on you though, in AL I actually pay MORE for my EV than I do my Ram and bike put together. Depending on where you live, you could be paying way more for an EV than the...

    Electric Ram 1500

So I'm not a fan of Ford, but came across a few threads about their new F-150 EV (Ford F-150 Lightning starts under $40k w/ 300-mile range and can power your home - Electrek) and was pretty impressed with their offering. I've been interested in the Rivian's for some time, but the wife won't...

    Cold Weather Prep

Pretty sure the Rebel was more Bug than Truck when I finally arrived up here. I've been replenishing the sauce pretty regularly, but will make sure I get the -25 variety for winter.

    Cold Weather Prep

I'd imagine with all those lakes and being right next to Hudson Bay that the Lake Effect would be downright awful. Was your air suspension come installed (like the with Rebel) or was it an aftermarket install? I bought my truck in FL so it came prepped for that muggy, hot, saltwater...

    Cold Weather Prep

So I just moved into the Far North (above 60* LAT) from the Deep South and want to make sure I get the truck prepped adequately for the harsh Winters here (-45* F is common) and do what work I can myself before I have to take into a shop. Truck is a 2018 Rebel (which I hear has issues with the...
