5.7L engine oil temp over 220 ?
wow those temps seem on the high side my 2010 runs consistently under normal load. oil temp 180 trans temp around 185 and coolant rarely goes above 203. run 5/20 red line- outlaw52

Oil Catch Can Dump photos
I bought a billet catch can from moes probably around 2012-2013. works fine I dump it every oil change. my question as idiotic as it may be. is there any maintenance at all clogged fittings at any point? I understand its basically a metal can but has anyone had any issues? curious.- outlaw52

Synthetic Oil
these oil threads always leave me with my head spinning. so I have been running RL 5/20 in my truck for 50,000 miles give or take. it took the hemi tick away and I never heard it again. now I see some saying 5/20 is too thin go w/the 5/30 just bought a case of 5/20 thinking about trading it...- outlaw52

Oil Filter Thread
ok for some reason I thought it was a thread for filters on the hemi in general. after looking in to it a little closer it seems the newer hemis might have a fitment issue? if I had a newer hemi I would be using the 10-48 without question.- outlaw52

Whats biggest thing you've towed with your 1500?
brake controller came in the mail today. just installed it the 2 plugs were under dash the controller lit up but lights go out after about 45 sec. also no info in the evic about the controller? do i need a flash at the dealer? i didnt hook the trailer up while doing any of this. i will surely...- outlaw52

Whats biggest thing you've towed with your 1500?
looking to tow a 2500 lb trailer with a 3400 lb car on it? no air bags stock shocks. 2010 ram 1500 hemi 3:92 rear any suggestions? lol. oh and 18 inch tires- outlaw52

to flare or not to flare....
simple install and they look great. i wouldnt do it in temps less than 50 and a heat gun helps out. awesome mod for the 1500s. good luck. -

never had weathertecs . avs install is a simple in channel process. they look great and no white logo. -

Redline Engine Oil
