I don't have a replica. I went for the improvment.
Those trucks are the best turn key 4X4 trucks sold, no doubt. They can't follow me though. Not without a bunch more cash thrown at them and even then, that loooooong wheelbase is a pain in the butt in alot of terrain.
With the 14 bolt pig i have in the rear i only get 10". The front 44 gives me a solid 11". No worries though. Both have 3/8" plate steel covers. I'll just push through.:signs6:
The absolute lowest point is always the way to go with ground clearance.
On pavement...drivable but not so's you would want to drive it everyday.
There is no track bar because the links center the axle so bump steer is a bit of an issue as the drag link cycles up and down with the suspension.
There is no sway bar so body roll is everpresent.
It handles well enough...
Triangulated fourlink with 14" King coilovers up front on a Ford HP D44.
Rear is 63" Chevy leafs with custom shackles and 12" Bilstein 5150's on a GM 14 bolt full floater.
I'm changing the rear soon. The 5150's just can't keep up so i'm going with 12" 2.5 smooth body res. Kings and new mounts...
