Swapped all suspension components to the eco. Got it properly tuned and it runs incredible, plenty of power for my needs and averaging 22mpg with the 34s. Went with some BD squadrons. Installed the winch but still have the factory bumper on, I’ll eventually get around to putting on the prerunner...
I’ve been meaning to call king and get there input as well as getting a new valve stack spec’d out for this truck. Last time I just drove over to their shop and they were very helpful and got me dialed in, great group of people.
Yes they do but modifications are required. I cut the oem bump cans out and welded in new cans to the frame that would work with the wheeler bumps. A bit of work but a noticeable improvement with sudden impacts as well as if you are towing.
Agreed, I have always orientated body up, shaft down. Simply because chromoly shafts are stronger than aluminum bodies. If you catch a rock to the shaft it’ll be fine for the most part, a rock to the shock body would be catastrophic.
The idea behind this truck is to use it mainly as a daily and occasional off-road, sell the white truck and buy either a Polaris/samurai/Cherokee or older blazer and build as a dedicated off road vehicle.
