You just sold me on that, great point that I wasn’t really thinking of. I will redo the plastidip sometime soon and let you guys know how it goes. Anyone have some advanced experience with plastidip? I’ve heard some things about “hardening” and gloss spray that goes on as a final coat but I’d...
I know this is an old post but does anyone have a tool or good way to remove the broken clips from the grill? I tried a few methods but I haven't been able to get them out.
Thanks for all the videos, as a new Ram owner I have been binging through your channel and now I a subscribed.
One quick question. When i bough my Ram the previous owner had already installed an HID kit similar to yours, I'd like to do this swap but I'm not sure what is factory and what came...
I havent flipped through all the posts so I'm not sure if this got said but what about the GD adaptive cruse control. I've got a father in law that likes to lead the caravan and hates his cruse control. I've got adaptive cruse in my 2011 Durango and it saved my ankle alot of aches. Why not...
if you really want a truck I'd trade them both on a limited or something with more features you can enjoy.
As others have said, very sorry for the loss.
Ive been looking into doing the same on my '16 with air ride. Theres a good thread about it on the 1500Diesel forum that should have all the info you need.

That's the look I want but i think you may be right about it looking bad with the chrome bumper. Maybe this is reason enough to replace the bumper with an aftermarket one.
There were areas where it was easy to peel off but the majority of the dip was too thin and that’s where it was a problem. When it’s too thin it’s like peeling dried paint and it just comes off in small chips. If I redip the wheels one day I will definitely be doing 8+ coats

Does anyone know if there is a product that extends the OEM fender flair onto the chrome bumper (mine is painted but was chrome originally). If that's not clear I'm looking for a fender flair that extends to the area circled below. Thanks!
Has anyone ever seen these "Sports Racing" stickers on a 1500? Its an EcoDiesel so it seems strange to have racing sitckers on a v6 diesel even with a turbo. I'm going to remove them I was just wondering how they got on there.
I got the grills swapped out tonight and finished up the plastidip removal on the limited grill. For anyone following along the last step was to use rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean off all the gunk and residue left by the plastidip.
I’m with you Vet, I I still plan on murdering out the truck. I do agree it’s overdone these days but I still can’t help that I love the look. The plastidip was faded and peeling or I would have left it. I’m debating reapplying the plastic dip every 2-3 yrs for $12 or getting them powercoated...
Yea I guess your right. I was standing right next to a sign that said “Paint your whole car for $299” so I asked the guy. He just shook his head and said “if your not happy with it like this you don’t even wanna See what a $299 paint job looks like”... he was the stores GM

I'm a new ED owner myself but initial impressions of the truck are good. For some real world numbers I generally get about 22 MPG around town in my ED but I've always been a little hard on the gas pedal. When my wife drives it numbers are closer to 23-24 MPG. I did a 800 mile round trip road...
