Nice inverter. But it really bothers me you didn't shrink the insulation on the yellow terminal.
You also need to put an inline fuse in the circuit unless it has over current protection built in.
RTV silicone is what the factory uses in the 65rfe. If you only use 1 tube or less you will have no issues. Just follow the manufacturers instructions for application. The only drawback is having to get the silicone off the next time.
You may be able to get the seal out with out taking the gear lever out. The manual has you take the lever out, remove the seal and drive in a new one with a special tool. It may depend on your tools and skill level to determine if you can get it out without damage.
4x4 filter change also requires a low profile torx bit/driver due to the cross over pipe. Recommend just using a 1/4 torx bit and a box wrench to turn it.
Also if you use mopar sealant you need to have that thing together in less than 5 minutes from when you first squeeze some out of the tube...
