Yeah wasn't exactly my plan for that day, but in a round about way, I'm glad it did. The transmission was on its last leg, and I found a paint bubble spot. Now the new truck is just better overall, given that its newer and bigger in size. The dodge may make a comeback someday, but for now it...
Bent the frame, smashed the radiator, condenser, and trans cooler, hood is bad, inner fenders, bumper, both lights, grille, and shoved fan into engine and tore up the belt and pulleys. $3000 damage on a $6500 truck is totaled to insurance.
Well I haven't been on in a while due to school changes and summer work so this news is a bit old but back in April of this year, my truck and I had an accident. Long story short, I had a gal pull out in front of me and the truck was totaled. Really heartbreaking to be honest as it was my first...
First Day 3 years ago:
Now:
22" LED lightbar
2- 2" LED Fogs
18x10" KX Offroad wheels
33x12.50x18 AT's
LED Rock lights
2" Level (waiting to be installed)
It's a basic bracket built from a piece of angle iron and piece of 3/8" strap with two holes drilled. Then attached to the bumper horn in a factory drilled hole using a large bolt, lock washer and a nut. Pretty simple just takes time to test fit.

The alignment in the one picture was a test fit. It's centered in the hole now.
Okay so my auto transmission in my 99 dodge ram 4x4 with the 5.9 V8 is going out. I found a 2001 auto transmission from a 4x4 with the 5.9 V8 as well. SO will it fit? I know they are the same transmission but I have heard that they did some electronic updates after 99. Any input would be great...
I have two 3x3 LED pods in a flood pattern and a 22" spot/flood combo light bar from TruxTech.com . I just ordered a pair of Rigid Industries spot pattern pods as well.
I'll work on getting install pics. I basically drilled a 1/4" hole in the fender liner for the wiring to go through and then used self-tapping screws to mount the lights themselves. I did not have to drill into any metal in the rear or the front passenger fender, however on the front driver's...
A few updates. I got a 5% windshield brow put on across the top (don't have a pic) and I'm also going to go ahead and get one across the bottom of the windshield too. I also recently installed a set of Rock lights or inner fender lights, whatever you want to call them...
Went ahead and order some flood surface mount LED lights and put them on last night. Here is the link to the post.

Finally got my lights in yesterday and spent a few hours wiring and installing them into my inner fenders. They are mainly for looks rather than offroading and they also come in handy when working on suspension parts, or anything under the truck for that matter. Spent about $100 total including...
I simply cut the factory plug off of the factory wiring harness and soldered the positive of the harness to the positive of the cube and same with the ground. Pretty simple install. And they are a 3x3 pod from truxtech.com
I'm looking at installing a white LED light in the upper portion of each wheel well to shine down on each wheel. Some may ask why and I'll put it simply. I think it looks awesome and it's unique. I know it's popular with off-road enthusiasts to see what they're driving on at night, but these...
