starter relay will be located in the engine bay fuse box. if you look in the manual that came with the truck it will tell you exactly which relay it is.
you could check the voltage of the battery. if its low then either the alternator could be bad or something else is pulling power.
but you...
did you check all connections? maybe a bad ground. check relay.
Turn your headlights on then try to start it and see if the headlights dim.
My truck kind of did the same thing. though it was very obvious. every time i turned the key my entire truck went dead. I had a bad battery connection.
ive dealt with 3 exhaust leaks now, one thing i found is that there will usually be some black soot around the leak. may help with locating it. but definitely check the bolts. 2 of the 3 leaks i dealt with ended up being the bolts.
Id look for an exhaust leak. usually when there is an exhaust leak there will be some black residue around the area where its leaking, if its leaking. Wouldnt hurt to try to tighten up all the bolts attached to the exhaust. Would only take about 10minutes or so.
With an exhaust leak the...
check your grounds, make sure its completely metal on metal. take a wire brush to the areas to make sure you get the best connections. also make sure that all connections throughout the entire wiring kit is plugged in correctly.
Id assume the fuse box is near the battery. The buzzing is more...
from what i read it is a broken valve spring or rod. Probably more so the vlave spring. not too bad of a job. having 2 people will help a ton.
Also take a look at your intake manifold. could also be that it is cracked/ broken.

that was gonna be my next step. should have just done it when i had the pan down... oh well, gotta try and save the transfluid. replaced a few more sensors since monday, think if its not the shift packs probably gonna look for a new trans. been looking at the SharaDon stage 2 trans.
Thanks for...
funny thing about that. I read that too. there is no input speed sensor for my transmission. but there are 2 outputs. but im assuming that one of the outputs is used as the input. Dealership doesnt have it in the system and nothing online sells input speed sensors for my truck...
today i replaced the filters, fluid, and both output sensors on the transmission.
Still acting up. I was able to get a scanner that reads everything. I am throwing codes P0715 input speed sensor circuit.
P0733 3rd gear ratio incorrect
P0734 3th gear ration incorrect
any ideas? really need...
So i did a little research and found it could be a bad solenoid. Think im gonna start there along side with replacing the fluid and filters and see where that leads me.
Well the issue came back on my way to work.
This time i was on the highway so i was able to play around with it to get more information.
Went to accelerate while the trans was in OD got a shutter and clunk when it went out of OD. After that is would not go into OD. Got it up to 65 and rpms...
used my diablo predator, my aeroforce guage, and the key trick.
i just went outside, pulled off my line booster and found that one of the wires was loose. as soon as i pulled on the wire it came out. removed it, put the battery back on and drove just fine. Reinstalled tune and it continued...
last night i was driving when the check engine light came on. after that it started shifting rough from 1-2. pulled the code and it is a p0700. malfunction from TCU. no other codes follow. This morning I went to investigate and when the truck is sitting still the pedal does nothing at all. just...
more then likely not covered under anything. as long as there is a little bit of the threads sticking out its not a bad job. take the wheels and wheel wells off. put a vice grip on the bolts and back them out. install new bolts. could be done in an hour or two.
can check your cylinder compression to make sure your head gaskets are okay. next time your do an oil change make sure there is no coolant in the oil.
did you burp out all the air when you put the new coolant in?
did you install the tstat correctly? there should be an air bleeder on it and that...
there is a relay. will be in the fuse box. can look in the owners manual on location of the fuse. If i remember correctly there is a fuse box under the hood and also under the steering wheel towards the door. i could be wrong. I know my 06 durango had one there.
otherwise I would check to see...
thats the only reason I do my own oil change. had a shop do it once and could not get the filter out. by the time i got done with it it was just a bunch on scrap metal.
also i my opinion i think shops tighten the drain plug way too much.
WD-40 works great as well.
wont mess up the paint either. i used it to get it off my wheel a month ago. spray it over the dip wait about 10 minutes then it will almost melt off.
