Nice truck! I loved my '18. I'm sure you will love yours too. The lockers and sway bars were finicky on mine right from the time that I picked it up. If I remember correctly there is an after market locker bypass that is supposed to be a good fix.
found it...
The first place I looked was the ram dealerships. It was shocking to see those sticker prices. good news that your ram should last you a very long time.
Duramax, yes. I was on the fence but figured resale would be better as well as towing. Gas mileage looks to be around 18.5 not broken in. was getting about 12.5 with the power wagon. of course the diesel price is more than gas so it probably is closer in dollars and cents. I said I'd never do...
I'm okay with the interior as a whole. although not quite as nice as the rams, I still find it pretty nice. The Bose would be my one big issue. It sucks. complete garbage. Not sure when you bought your ram, but the msrp on those are out of hand. I was at 88,500 fully loaded. the rebel hd would...
I wasn't sure that I liked the front end until I saw one in person. maybe you have though.... I alway had that big puff of blue smoke at startup with my pw. wasn't a big deal though. I was worried about a diesel being smoky pulling it in and out of my garage but am amazed at how clean it is.
Quick update. I don't want to eat up much pw real estate in the forum, but thought I'd pass this along. So far really liking the zr2. I didn't know how I'd like the IFS but wow is it nice on road. I know it won't compete with a solid front axle off road but thats okay. Other than some plastic...
My wife's old Honda Pilot, a 2016 was low milage at the time and the battery took a ****. they said the start stop is really hard on them and because it was a battery it was not warrantied in the "extended." I was like, "so you put a system on the car that destroys batteries and then done...
I got tired of waiting for a true HD redesign with the 5th Gen Cab. Went against every instinct and got the new ZR2 Hd. Looked at the rebel hd but wasn't feeling it. Not doing a real comparison but a few quick thoughts. Factory 35s (34.8). No frond diff lock and IFS. The ride is pretty nice...
I wasn't saying that the arms are the deciding factor in payload/towing capacity. Just that they are different, unlike the myth around here that everything is exactly the same except the soft springs. The front axles are different too. Why, I dont know. if anyone has that info I'd love to know...

From this thread a while back it looks like it was determined that no, the components are not all the same. what difference it makes, who knows. but its not just the soft springs
Regardless of what you were doing, the housing gave out before the motor stopped. I don't know how they can claim abuse. you can watch the videos on YouTube of one of the Ram engineers winching the truck over boulders. unless you hooked the winch to a crane and picked it up, I would say that...
Looking at the New offerings from GM it leaves me baffled as to when Ram is going to make real updates to their HD line and the PW. I'd still love to see the new, well 5 model year old cab finally make an appearance. Lets at least get a stock 35 too. Ram, are you there?
