03 hemi ticking under load

Hey guys I'm new to the group and first time dodge owner. I recently bought a 2003 hemi 5.7. I am noticing a ticking noise only while I am driving it and accelerating.when I let off the gas ticking goes away. No ticking while in park or nuetral while reving it. Any ideas what I can start to look at? Thanks for any advice.

Check exhaust header gaskets. The 5.7 is known for the OEM bolts/studs on the stock exhaust logs to break over time and require replacement. I've done this for both sides on my truck.

An option that will eliminate the problem all together is to get headers. Shorty or long tube, doesn't matter.
