Its been a bit since there was an update, but its been out of my hands, the beed has been at the paint job waiting its turn to get bodyworked, but my painter told me to plan for it to be done this friday, so right now the plan is for friday to put the level drop kit and the new fully shaved bed on Friday morning, cant wait!

Right now they are volt, trans temp and a/f...
Im gona be putting the air gauges up there with a better volt gauge

Alright got a lot done today, for starters i had a clunking on the front end that showed up after one trip in the truck, well long story short, turns out the previous owner had the front end rebuilt with all new ball joints and tie rod ends, but they forgot to tighten and lube up the lower driver side ball joint, crazy right, so torqued it to spec and filled it with grease and the front noise is all gone now...

After all that time at the shop, my painter got to hit my bed this week, all the shaving was done and worked to perfection...

Guide coat
Final sanding before paint
Done and curing
The inside of the bed wasnt painted because we have some more work to be done inside there, when thats done we will bedline the inside, we have to build a notch cover and tub it so that when i get bags the 24s have somewhere to go

While he did the final painting on the bed me and my suspension guy took apart the rear end and lowered it so that it will set level...

the new tailgate isnt done yet but it is supposed to be done next friday, also the rear suspension has settled some since these pix and will still settle more

I love the result, once the tailgate is done i have to have all new exhaust put on, the cat and muffler is plugged up and garbage from the old bad motor spewing its guts through it and now it throws a code sayin the cat is done within 10 miles of resetting the computer, but she is a solid driving truck now and she aint too hard on the eyes anymore either!

Well sadly she is a 3.7, so sounding good isnt really an option for this ole goat, im going with a magaflo OEM grade OBDII compatible cat and as fas as the muffler goes, im gona see what the exhaust shop will suggest for a free flowing quiet muffler
