I ve got an 06 2500 4x4 5.7gas mega cab.

Its stock.

I'd like to put really no more than 33" tires on it. I can probably cram them in there now but I want some space in the wheel wells.

Whats a WELL RECOMMENDED 2-3" lift......a do-it-right lift.

thanks!!

You can run 33's no problem as it sits. If anything you could throw a level on it.

As SilverStreak88 stated a 33" tire will fit on the stock suspension.
(the pic I posted in your other post is stock front springs)

But if you do decide to level the front (2-3" will level the truck)
I would recommend Thuren or Carli for springs. I have a set of Thuren 2" soft rate springs (which I might be convinced to part with) that ride really nice. I haven't had Carli, but I've heard nothing but excellent things about them.
I think the Carli only come in 3" or 6" but the thuren's come in 2", 3", and 6".
