07 gone. 18 in the driveway

Couldn't take the "Nickel & Dime" repairs on an almost monthly basis, so I made the decision to trade the 07 RAM on an 18. Went from a Regular Cab to a Crew Cab & a 5.7l to a 6.4l. The Princess & I are BOTH retiring next year & we needed something reliable to pull an as yet unpurchased Toy Hauler. The 5.7l just didn't have what we needed. We have almost 2000 Lbs of Harley-Davidsons to put in the back & that didn't leave mach left for the weight of a travel trailer. Brilliant Black Pearl Coat is the color & she rides like a dream compared to the other one with 101K miles on it. I paid $10K in 2015 & they gave me $9K in trade & threw in wheel-to-wheel running boards. Coupla happy campers we ARE!

Congrats... I traded my '07 TRX w/ 120K a few months ago for a '17 BigHorn QC 5.7. Not retiring as soon as you are (maybe 5-6 years), but kind of the same reason: we got a pop up camper last June and wanted something a little newer to haul it. and wanted to get some decent resale on my '07 before it aged much more.

Good move. I did the same thing myself. Traded in my 07 Sport for a 17 Sport. I want to retire with a 2 year old truck, not a 12 year old truck.

Is it a 1500 or 2500 you bought? I'm sure you know this but hopefully you are not going to haul one of those humongous toy haulers and tow it with a 1500.... and decide to take a trip through the Rockies lol

I can't talk I've had mine for 6 weeks and don't have any photos yet as its been covered in road salt and every time I wash it ... it snows again!

Ok. Ok. Yeah, I'm OLD, but I actually DO have a job & don't get back to this site as much as I'd like to. Here's a pic at the dealer. We picked it up 18 Nov. & as of this AM it has 2146 Miles on it. It also has wheel-to-wheel running boards & a whole LOT of NY road grime on it.
