Put a 2" lift in my ram and the rear shocks are a little short. They will work but I'm not comfortable with it. Can anyone tell me the extended and collapsed length of a stock rear 2500 shock? I know the 2500 is taller than the 1500 so replacing the shocks with 2500 shocks may be a cheaper solution than going aftermarket.

Looks like stock length 99-04 F250-F350 superduty shocks may be a direct bolt in over the counter replacement rear shock for us guys lifted 2"-3" I have a friend at autozone who I will be visiting tomorrow. She will let me measure out the different shocks and verify lengths. We'll see!

2004 f250 super duty shocks measure 31.5" fully extended. Should be great for 2"-4"'of lift. Way cheaper than aftermarket shocks, easy to get locally, lifetime warranty through autozone!
