1500 sport tow mirror pics?

It's one of those things where you'll have to get used to them, in order to like them. If you don't tow you'll never in my opinion realize the benefits behind having a set.

I have a 25 ft camper, and we're going next weekend, so I'm sure I'll form more of an appreciation for them then.

Got mine today and installed them as soon as I got off work!! Not sure if I'm extremely happy with them yet so I'll keep my sport mirrors for now.

2 things.

1. Can I have first dibs on those tow mirrors if you do decide you don't want them?? I hve a 2016 with just power/ defrost in the mirrors.

2. How simple of an install is this? It looks like you just pop the door panel off, unbolt mirrors and bolt the new ones on??

Sure , but I think they're growing on me.

It took about an hr and a half and most of that was trying to get the panels back on. They're a pain to get back on

The one think I love about my tow mirrors is the factor I can see the whole side of the vehicle in the 2nd mirror. Definitely makes it easier for lane changes, going around drive thrus (with tight curbs), and backing up.

I completely agree with you on this. I love my mirrors and keep them up all the time. Besides I feel the mirrors give the truck a more bad ass look.

Going to hijack this for a second cause I want these mirrors now...

i have a 2016 ram 1500 slt with heated/ power mirrors. I do not have signals, puddles or power fold stock right now.

I want to add tow mirrors. I dont want to add the signals, puddles or power fold because i dont want to pay extra for that option and then pay for a flash on top of that... So if i buy these mirrors https://www.1aauto.com/ram-mirror-pa...=763993&y=2016 here they will be a direct replacement? will also be plug and play for the defrost and the ability to power adjust the mirror itself (not fold them in)? I wont have to flash anything or hook anything extra up?

Here is my set of mirrors, one of favorite purchases. I wired them up as running lights at night into my clearance light power source off my fuse box. Got them on Amazon.

how do you like them at highway speeds? do they shake and what brand on amazon because im looking and every one has at least a couple reviews about shaking at highway speeds (i have that which is why i want to replace my replacements). lol thanks!
