Also wondering if you are using the stock UCA's with your setup? And how is that rear reservoir mounted?

Can I get the 6112's complete with top mount already installed? I think I read somewhere you can but I can't find where I read that.

What I don't see there is what the height is set to.

States clear as day ;)

I think I got my 6112's for under $600, I swapped over my mounts and such.

I took the first hit, if you google a bit you may find better price for complete set

I own a 2017 ram 1500 5.7L 4wd w/ 33" Toyo Open Country AT II tires (RAM Rebel take-offs) and debating the very reasonably priced 6112 setup in front, VS the more expensive, but highly regarded Falcon or Icon setup. Obviously Fox 2.0 coilovers also on the table...

Somehow my gut is telling me 6112's...

Questions:
1) JB1...what's your experiences now that they have been on for a bit?

2) WHAT ARE ALL THE ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT RINGS SET AT? 1.3"? 2.6"? etc...

3) Seems like the reputation of this kit does not match the price...why so inexpensive compared to others in same category?

*keep in mind my intended use: daily driver (rural town and rural highway), Fast, hot ass travel on desert dirt roads, steep loose decomposing granite mining roads, and some rocky 4x4 mountain foothill roads. AKA: Death Valley/Eastern Sierra Nevada/Nevada desert.

This thread is great. Thanks, all!

1) I’m very happy with the 6112’s and wouldn’t change to anything else. The coils are very high quality. My trucks front fender measurements are both exactly 46-1/8 L/R and rear is 46-1/4 L/R, no side to side difference like when my truck was stock. These also have a lifetime warranty, can’t beat that.

2) They adjust in increments of .43 up to a max of 2.6” height increase over stock, I have mine set to 2.6” lift (See attachment below).

3) The 6112’s are great, some think they are expensive and opt for the 5100’s instead. These are huge shocks with a 60mm piston and 2.75” body to hold more fluid, bigger than fox 2.0 and 2.5.

Not sure how they’ll do in Death Valley, maybe do some searches and check YouTube as well, that’s what I did.

I think THMotorsports had the best price on these but shop around, might be July 4th sales coming.

Here’s who I ordered them from, they beat thmotorsports price. If you make an account at Thmotorsports, add them to your cart but don’t buy them, they’ll email you a discount code, it drives them nuts, then send that lower price to bilsteinlifts and they’ll beat it. I played them back and forth and bought mine at a low price lol

Thanks, JB1! Lots of good experience and info there.

Probably will go this route...although the Icon and Falcon kits have me salivating. Want vs need I suppose. The 5100s are just not quite up for my intended use and I think I need a step or two up from that...at least in the front.

Any 6112 owners have issue with the shocks settling/sagging after a bit? How accurate are the measurements vs the lift you actually get?

Another thing to consider is I intend to add an aftermarket bumper to the front...which will weigh about 190-200#...

Thanks

Likely to swap out my 5100s for 6112s myself. I added front and back Iron Bull bumpers and a Warn VR12000 winch, and my front end height took a dip (pun intended) and I definitely need stronger front end. My plan is also to go from the Zone 4" to the 6" lift (by adding just the 2" strut spacer from Zone), set the 6112s to 2.6 and add a 1" spacer in the back. That should have me good to go.

Im in bad street california (palmdale)

Haha sorry, I'm just now reading/laughing at this, but when did they start calling Palmdale "Bad Street Cali"? Is that referring to the road conditions or the crime conditions?

Sorry, I misspoke. Icon kits and Falcon shocks.
Well maybe for what your gonna be doing those may be a better choice. Most guys here don’t do any hardcore or daily off-roading like you plan on doing so the Bilsteins work just fine
