if you got a 93 tank fuel tank and and sending unit you will most likely also need a fuel pressure regulator installed. also i am pretty sure any 91-93 harness would be about the same for what you need as long as you are keeping it carbed. you could even look at 86-87 harness also since it would be closer to what you would need but you would still most likely need a few 91-93 connectors and sensors to work with the 93's cab harness.

what all do i need? i assume be better to just buy a full harness and ecu (for speedo) then use 93 sensord ( oil / water temp ) ill need the speed sensor would it be easier just to re wire from cluster to sending unit or figure out the 5 off the 93 to the 3 from the 83 harnes.

a 93's gas tank should have a fuel pump in the tank so i don't think a mechanical pump would be able to pull thru it but i could be wrong. you would also need the connector for the fuel pump and sending unit. as far as the gauge go it would be easier to wire them to the connector under the hood. pretty much all the sensors under the hood have the same resistance's even tho they did change a bit. you can use the 93's speed sensor. you just have to run a single wire the the bulkhead connector and it should make it work. i will see about posting a 93's bulkhead connector diagram in a bit

Do the sending unit wires just go to the gauge?

ya they just go to the gauge. pretty much everything on these things just go to the gauges. you might have to also ad a ground to the fuel tank sending unit along with the fuel gauge sending unit wire
