1997 Choo Choo Custom ??

I have my Dads 1997 1500 RAM with the 5.2 Engine that was customized aftermarket somewhere. It has wood grain inside and all Leather seats. It has some ground effects and Bed Rails. I took the Wheels off that came with it because the Center caps kept coming off. Anyone know anything about this truck??

Nothing more than what came with it factory. It looks like one of the few conversion companies got ahold of it. It looks like a nice street truck, you'll certainly have fun with it.

Are you serious. You could get a wooden interior from the factory. They made some sick trucks back in the day.

They were a rare, unlisted factory option. Had to be special ordered, same with a moon roof.

You could yeah.

Didn't publicize it because it's a pain in the ass on their part and was expensive at the time.

I have one and it's a pain. Seemed cool at first then a few years down the road it started rattling when going down dirt roads. Then a while later it wouldn't seal properly when it rained so I ended up just sealing it permanently with silicone and since we live in southern NV it's sunny 99% of the time and the sun beating down on you and in your eyes is no fun. Never again!
