Newbie here I'm sure it has been discussed a thousand times but does anyone know if a gen 2 or even 3 bench seat with console would fit in my '81 single cab Ram.

you can fit other seat in. it has been done. you just have to find some seats that are not too deep or talk and then make them mounts to fit in the truck. you could always mount a cupholder to the floor if you need one. that is what i did in my ramcharger when i took the bucket seats out of it and installed a bench seat.
