Our diesels don't generally see numbers that high. Check out fuelly.com for some real world, user-submitted numbers.

I think he might have been talking about the 1/2 ton diesel, if and when it comes out. That could possibly get 28 mpg highway, but I'm not counting on it.

Ah, if that's the case then maybe. I doubt we'll see those kinds of numbers though. We'll see in a few months.

Based on what the JGC was getting (30mpg highway) I don't think 28 is all that unreasonable.

I truly hope it will be as good.
Next I hope that the upcharge will not be too steep.
I always wanted a diesel and was considering a 3/4 ton (though I only need a 1/4 ton, haha)
