2" spindle on 4wd

So... been thinking about spindles recently, but since the mcgaughy's spindle gives 2" drop on a 2wd, it would give 3" drop on a 4wd right?

My truck has a 3" rake right now, so doing a spindle kit, in order to be level I'd have to do basically a 3/6 drop... Wouldn't really want to do a C-notch though...

No i know... i'd probably go with a 2/4 and have rake until I could C-notch it.

Am I right on the 3" drop from a spindle though?

The spindles don't give a full 2" drop on the 2wd, it's more like 1.5. On a 4wd the 2" spindles give a 2.25-2.5" drop

Thanks dude. Good to know. At least a 2/4 wouldnt look too bad then.

Totally unrelated, but my leaf springs have a very slight (less than 1/2") of fanning going on... The driver side pack is fanning outwards on the front of the pack, and the passenger side pack is fanning outwards on the back of the pack.. Is my rear axle out of alignment? Should I just jack it up by the frame and hammer the leaves back in place?
