I plan on buying a 2.5" leveling kit for my 2000 1500 4x4 tonight from hell bent steel. Anything I should beware of? Such as one tire sticking out for some odd reason ?

One tire will stick out a little more as the axle shifts over as the front end goes up. Therefore, the opposite tire will set in the fender more.

The wheels will also sit further back in the truck, as the axle comes back as the front end goes up.

Replace your shocks with extended ones while you're in there. I would stay away from Rancho, I had to install washers on the bottom mount because the bracket on the rancho was way to narrow and caused a popping feel over bumps.
