2004 1500 gooseneck options

Looking to put a gooseneck in my 2004 Ram 1500, crew cab short bed, 4x4. What's a good kit to go with?

I do understand that you generally don't pull a gooseneck with a 1/2 ton truck. Only looking to use this one as a backup to my turbodiesel dually should it break down.

I hear you man. I have one in my 1500 for the same reason. I just needed to be able to move empty trailers around on our lots. I went with the b and w hideaway hitch. Rates up to 30,000 lbs...

Yeah that would be awesome. Goosenecks just pull better, especially when loaded. In the country around here you see a bunch of half tons pulling little one horse gooseneck trailers.

Get you a little ole' cattle trailer and drag it around.

Probably would be worth it to get one and turn it into a flatbed trailer, rather than making a whole new trailer.

Nah, no sense in doing that... you can put stuff inside and have it locked up and what not.
