Truck has 4-wires cut and taped and no connector. Colors are yellow, green, brown and BLACK. Black is larger diameter than the other 3-colors, slightly. All 4-wire diagrams I see show a white for ground. I want to finish the proper end for pulling a 4-wire trailer I bought - is it safe to presume the black was 2004's version of the ground? Sorry for simple question, never had a trailerable boat before. Wires DO have power, they shorted out and blew license plate light fuse before I taped the ends off.
There IS a round hole in plastic portion of bumper cover with square cover that pops into the bumper, plan to run the wires through this opening.
