2007 Dodge Ram hemi

Hi guys. I’m new to the forum and new to Dodge Ram. Just purchased a used Ram with hemi. 100k Miles has flow master single exhaust and cool air k&n intake. Is it anything i need to watch for that’s common problem on these trucks.

Exhaust manifold bolts are prone to breaking off

Rust around rear wheel wells and the manifold bolts, currently waiting for parts to fix mine, the motor will make a loud clicking sound when driving. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks guys. I see rust starting around wheel well. Not yet but i see paint bubbling. Will the fender flares take care of this?

All fender flares will do hide the rust. If rust is there it needs to be sanded down and repainted it fix it correctly. You can definetly leave it but it’s gonna get worse over time

Well this escalated quickly. While my wife was driving home the check gauges light cane on. She was no longer able to turn the wheel from side to side she coasted to side of road then the temp shot up to h. Any ideas

Sounds like the engine died on the road, do you have a code reader or can you get to a local Parts store to have them check the codes?

Sounds like she blew a belt.

Sounds like she blew a belt.

That’s exactly what happened. The bearings went out on one of the pulleys. It appears to have a new water pump so i might just replace all the other pulleys

Keep an eye on the ball joints they're known to go bad. Nice truck, too bad about the belt.
